Chiloquin, Oregon The Kla-Mo-Ya Casino is a tribal-owned gambling establishment located in Klamath County, Oregon. Its name is derived from the name of the Klamath, Modoc, and Yahooskin tribes.
The casino was built in 1997. In 2010, the tribes completed construction of a truck stop aimed at utilizing the north/south trucking traffic along U.S. Route 97. A groundbreaking ceremony for a new 84-room hotel is planned for some time in May or June of this year. The hotel is scheduled to open in the summer of 2018.
On going issues with tobacco smoke and odor prompted management to contact Casino Air for help. An engineered solution was recently approved by the tribal council and scheduled for installation. Clean air is good business.
