Treasure Island Resort & Casino is the only casino resort in southern Minnesota located on the Mississippi River. Treasure Island’s Caribbean themed facility features over 150,000 square feet of casino floor, 2,200 slots, 27 blackjack tables, 20 carnival games, a poker room and a 500-seat high stakes bingo hall. Casino guests can relax in Treasure Island’s luxurious 500-room hotel and take in a show in the 3,000-seat Island Event and Convention Center. Additional guest amenities include a 137-slip marina, 95-site RV park, a 100-passenger cruise ship and Island Xtreme Bowl, a 24 Brunswick™ Lane bowling center, arcade and lounge.
Tobacco smoke and odor had taken its toll on the casino floor and bingo facilities. Complaints about the smoke were on the rise and the residual odor was penetrating non-smoking areas of the property. Casino management recently contracted Casino Air to engineer and install a permanent fix to the problem. Clean Air will be on the menu before the snow flies this winter.
