Presque Isle Downs & Casino’s installed a new air purification system that leaves both guests and employees breathing easier.
Casino Air, which manufacturers the system, removes approximately 95% of the tar, nicotine and ash in the air during its first pass through the enhanced filters. The tobacco odor is completely eliminated. The Casino Air system uses activated oxygen generated by molecular oxidizers to sterilize the air.
Officials at the casino are receiving positive reviews on the new ventilation system. “One of the biggest concerns that we received through our guest surveys is the smell of smoke in the casino. This new air purification system eliminates the odor and creates a healthier environment for all to enjoy. The feedback that we receive from our guests is invaluable and we will continue to make efforts to provide the best casino experience for our players”, stated Mike Tamburelli, Vice President and General Manager of Presque Isle Downs & Casino.
According to Casino Air’s website, this system eliminates more than just tobacco odor and smoke. It also kills harmful microorganisms, mold and mildew during the filtration process.
